I found a couple of great boxes that had note paper in them. As soon as I saw them I was imagining how I could alter them so I bought two (now I am wondering if I should have gotten more…). I put the note paper aside for another project and got busy on my flower.
For this flower I cut the top and bottom off of two soda cans and then cut it open so I could run it through my Big Shot to cut the shapes. I used Tim Holtz Tattered Floral and Mini Branch and Leaf, Alcohol ink in raspberry, citrus and butterscotch, purple felt and a Lush brad.
The box is covered in Fancy Pants it’s the LITTLE things both inside and out and inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Peeled Paint. I used Miracle tape to attach the paper.
Inside I attached an envelope cut with Sissix Scallop Envelope and inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Dusty Concord. I used Tim Holtz Tags and Tabs for a small tag cut out of Echo Park Springtime cardstock and stamped with a Fancy Pants clear stamp-love, Jillibean Soup twine and 7Gypsies key charm to embellish the envelope. Small cards are in the envelope to write your favorite and most cherished memories on and keep in this treasured memory box.
