I am going to be out of town so I won't be able to do any challenges but I am really excited to see what everyone comes up with and will be checking in often since I can't leave home without my netbook, tablet, and smartphone...gotta have my technology!!
And now my challenge to you...
...create a project of your choice; card, layout, home decor or altered item that has a handmade NON paper embellishment. This embellishment can be metal, fabric, ribbon, twine, wood, plastic, etc…just not paper.
Here are a couple of examples, these were all projects I entered in previous Crop Chocolate challenges:

Metal Plastic

Fabric Felt
A couple of rules: At least 50% of the product used shoud be from CropChocolate, you can combine up to three (3) challenges on one (1) project but still have to post it on each individual blog, please leave a comment after you link up your project and if you aren't already I hope you will become a follower of my blog.
Here is a sneak peek of the blog candy I am offering...
To be eligiable for my blog candy either link your photo or blogpost with the linky below or leave a comment. You have until 9:00am MST Thursday July 5th. Winners for my blog candy will be selected by a random draw and announced Friday July 6th here on this blog. Winners of the Crop Chocolate prizes will be announced Monday July 9th at 9:00 am MSTover at Crop Chocolate. Good luck!! I cannot wait to see all of the creative projects!!
I love your project examples....and a great challenge for sure! Wish you could play too....thanks for hosting a challenge!
ReplyDeleteawesome! I think I may try using felt for the 1st time!
ReplyDeleteI made the little butterfly from twine (lifted from Macattack on CC!). I've been wanting to try it. It's SO cute! I'm karey2005 on CC and am following your blog!
ReplyDeleteGreat project!! Thanks for participating!!
DeleteAll linked up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the excuse to try my hand at making a twine butterfly!
Hoping to have time to get crafty before the deadline.....thanks so much!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI linked up a couple cards. They both have a letter 'b' that I cut out on the Cricut out of felt. Is that homemade enough? I had another card where I had made my own twine, but I had already entered it in 3 challenges before I realized there was a limit. This was all I could come up with in a very limited time schedule I have. If it doesn't qualify, please let me know!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm all linked up! And now off to celebrate the 4th of July with my family! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm all linked up! My "felt flower" project is done! Thanks for the great challenge!
ReplyDeleteHi, Belle! I'm all linked up, too. Thanks for the challenge - it was a great chanced for me to finally make one of those "winding twine" embellishments! Hope you have a great vacation!
ReplyDeleteI'm linked up I think. I love making my own embellishments, so this was a fun one. I did something I haven't done in ages. I used Angelina fibers, it may kind of look like paper in the photo, but it isn't. Thanks for the challenge!
ReplyDeleteI hope I linked properly! I made flowers out of beads and wires---was fun! Thanks for the challenge, and for making us think outside the box! :)
ReplyDeleteHi. I hope to still get a project done for your challenge. I like to make non-paper things. I am just running out of time!
ReplyDeleteI have an idea, just need the time to get it done. Great challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge - But I am running out of time to get it done!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects - I love them all. Thanks for the great challenge. I punched a heart on a takeout plastic container and used my heat gun to shrink it!! (I have been sooooo anxious to see it it really worked) I used Mr. Linky but you can find my project here
