Challenge 16 is up over at Crop Chocolate. This weeks challenge:  Do some spraying, misting or flicking of paint, ink, stain! Let's get messy!! It can be with commercial or homemade products as long as it is applied in a spray or mist, or by flicking it on with something like a watercolor brush.  You have until Wednesday morning to enter…

  2. I totally agree w/ Trendy.....beautiful! I would love to know how you make your homemade glimmer mist =D

    1. Thanks!! Over at Crop Chocolate one of the ladies (Pandora) shared a 'recipe'. It is super simple: water, glue (like Elmers), and I used a metallic paint (not glitter). I even added some perfect pearls to a couple of the colors for some added 'sparkle'. Here is her post:
"so I've had several people ask about this, I'm going to post it to my blog, but wanted to pop in here with a quickie first! You need spray bottles, water, a clear drying glue (NOT diamond glaze, glossy accents, or anything resin~ish), a form of mica powder (pearl ex, perfect pearls), and your color. I recommend acrylic paints, they are cheap and easily found at many stores. Re-inkers would work, at least some brands. I do not suggest alcohol inks. take my word for it, M'kay? fill the bottles 3/4th full of water (warm/hot works best), add a squirt of glue, your paint, and pinch of mica powder. start with small amounts and once things are added, shake, spray and add more color/ glimmer until you get a color combo you love!" She later added about the metallic paint and I went that route....

  3. What a fun project! Thanks for playing with us at timeless twine!
