Paint Brush Swap

Dee Dee over at VLVS! loves to host swaps and they are always fun!!!  This one is an altered paint brush swap.  The theme was nature and the only requirement is that you use at least one VLVS!  I have been collecting some amazing stamps since I have been visiting the VLVS! blog and web-site.   This bird flying stamp is one of my favorites and I have it in both sizes!!

We did 2 brushes, one to swap and one to be displayed in the VLVS! store.

Close nest
I did a little coloring on my stamped image, used an embossing folder on my tree background and rolled little paper eggs in my nest.

Close clouds
I used a floral bead and teeny tiny little clear glass glitter beads on my clouds.

I can’t wait to see the altered paint brush I get back in the swap!!  Check back soon to see it.

  1. It's beautiful! Love the little eggs in the nest! :0)

  2. Cool brushes! I like those birds too- I may have to get me some!

  3. Wow, those are really pretty, Michele! Who'd have thunk you could make a paint brush so interesting?!
