May Arts and the Ribbon Lady offer an amazing product! These ribbons are just AWESOME! I have been using them on my project for some time now so when I saw this design team call I had to give it a shot.
This is round 1 of the
May Arts Prima Ribbonista design team call…
I have a few new projects to share with you. The first was inspired by my crafty friend Christina. She has been baking some amazing cakes lately and I came up with this treat box that looks like a fluffy cake.
May Arts ribbon, Carta Bella So Noted paper, liquid pearls and distress ink.
Next I made a wreath, in honor of spring, I was so happy to start seeing nice weather!!

I wrapped a small Styrofoam circle in yarn and then in one of my favorite
May Arts ribbons. I have almost every color of this chevron ribbon!!!
This next project, for my nieces-one each in their favorite colors, uses homemade chalkboard paint. I thought they would have fun with these door hangers by writing their own messages on them.

I stamped them with my FAVORITE
VLVS! the spotted butterfly in 2 sizes, wrapped some May Arts silk ribbon (that I sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist) and tied on a button. The rolled flowers are made with
May Arts 1.5 inch white ribbon and suede leaves.
First I tied a knot in the end of the ribbon.
I used a Glubber but you could also cut a circle and use a strong adhesive. Attach the knot in the middle of the circle.
While twisting the ribbon begin attaching in a circle around the knot.
Continue until you reach the edge of your circle. I tucked the end under and adhered.
I needed two flowers and sprayed them in different colors of glimmer mist.
I wanted two leaves for each flower so I cut off four suede leave and sprayed with glimmer mist.
After everything was dry (I am not very patient so I used my heat gun to speed things up) I hot glued the leaves and flower to my door hangers. Viola!
Next is a little gallery some more of my favorite projects all using
May Arts ribbon.
When you have time you should definitely stop by the Mart Arts blog! You will be truly inspired by all of the talent! There is also a challenge coming up in June, the theme is nautical…the ribbon lady selected some AMAZING ribbons. I was lucky enough to have been selected to participate in the challenge. Be sure to check it out!!
WISH ME LUCK!!!
