Over at Crop Chocolate Challenge #7 is up
From Amber: Buttons...they're almost a thorn in my side because I have so many of them. I've seen some fun creations on Pinterest with projects being made with them in the shape of hearts, as a photo frame, etc. that I'm loving! So, here's your challenge - create a project, ANY project!!, that includes a shape made out of buttons. The winner will receive a goody bag of scrappy goods from my overflowing stash - lots of options and I'll coordinate with the winner to find something perfect for them. No buttons - I promise. :)
I decided to do a holiday canvas, I used a wood canvas I picked up on sale.

I also used buttons (obviously!), Distress Stain-weathered wood, bundled sage, antique linen, walnut stain, picket fence, Distress Ink-fired brick, Distress paint-picket fence, UmWow Studio circle confetti, Tim Holtz dies, brick mask, molding paste, archival ink, snow flake mask, paper scraps.

With this canvas it can hang on the wall or stand on a shelf…

I am so happy to be getting a head start on my holiday projects!! And who doesn’t LOVE a snowman!!
