I had the opportunity to got the Create-n-Connect (CHA) show in Las Vegas last month with Chris at
Scrappy Chic... we had so much fun and I met a bunch of amazing people and learned many things!! One of my favorite encounters was with
Anna Dabrowska (Finnabair) at the Prima booth, I love her style!!
She was working on a project and talking about her process and I was in awe…
In person the details are unbelievable!

And I love her palette!!
The main thing that I got from all that she talked about was that you just had to feel it and CREATE. I finally decide to try it. Here is what I ended up with…
Now, I have only been finished for about an hour and I have already been thinking about what items I want to use on my next canvas…there are unlimited possibilities with what can be done and what can be used.
I used all kinds of bits…charms, gears, locks, keys, fractured doll, beads and Pink Paislee wood alphas.
And of course LOADS of Prima flowers; paper, metal and acrylic.
You will also see
UmWow Studio chipboard, damaged punchinella along with actual punchinella from Gauche Alchemy. I also used 2 different punchinella’s for a maks on the background. The is modeling paste and a dictionary page layered in there too.
I think the next one will be a bit more colorful, maybe brighter colors…we’ll see how it takes shape.
Well, there it is, not too shabby for my first try. What do you think?
