I decided to do a tag with a watercolor stamping technique. I have been practicing this for some time and I think I finally got it!!

Using VLVS! images and watercolor crayons I stamped on some MessyHead paper. The edges of both tag layers are distressed, inked and smeared with silver glaze then I splatter mist. I also glazed some of my snowflake confetti from UmWow Studio, added some sequins and floral beads too. That is May Arts burlap twine and chevron ribbon along with a vintage button.

I actually stamped this image twice (practice makes perfect!) and decided to make another tag with my second image. They turned out totally different but I can’t decide which one I like the best…

So I decided I like them both equally. It is funny how just changing a couple of the details you can make such different thing with the same stamped image!! Which one do you like best??
Wow, I love them both.. not sure I can say I love one more than the other though :)
ReplyDeleteMichele, once again, you did an AMAZING job with your project!!! A definite scraplift!!! I love the colors you used . . . and the stamp from VLVS and confetti from USE are just PERFECT!!! In fact, they are naval-time favorite place for stamps and chippies. :) Thanks for sharing your talent with us (once again)!!! {{hugs}} Kathy (Clayton528 or UpintheNightwithKat.blogspot.com)
