Frosty challenge-Scrapki

Over at Scrapki Wyzwaniowo the challenge that is up right now if frosty.
I decided to do a tag with a watercolor stamping technique.  I have been practicing this for some time and I think I finally got it!!

Frosty Tag

Using VLVS! images and watercolor crayons I stamped on some MessyHead paper.  The edges of both tag layers are distressed, inked and smeared with silver glaze then I splatter mist.  I also glazed some of my snowflake confetti from UmWow Studio, added some sequins and floral beads too.  That is May Arts burlap twine and chevron ribbon along with a vintage button.

I actually stamped this image twice (practice makes perfect!) and decided to make another tag with my second image.  They turned out totally different but I can’t decide which one I like the best…

So I decided I like them both equally.  It is funny how just changing a couple of the details you can make such different thing with the same stamped image!!  Which one do you like best??

  2. Michele, once again, you did an AMAZING job with your project!!! A definite scraplift!!! I love the colors you used . . . and the stamp from VLVS and confetti from USE are just PERFECT!!! In fact, they are naval-time favorite place for stamps and chippies. :) Thanks for sharing your talent with us (once again)!!! {{hugs}} Kathy (Clayton528 or UpintheNightwithKat.blogspot.com)
