Dress Form Finnabair Style

At CHA in January Chris and I got to visit Prima for a workshop with Finnabair using all of her new mixed media products.  I was so excited to learn from Finn and her products with Prima are awesome.  Then over at SWAT Charity has a special ops project making your own dress form with regular household products...she challenged us to create some type of dressform project.  SO I created a dressform Finnabair style...

I worked on this for two days which might just be the longest I have worked on any one single project but I was having SO much fun!!!

I used loads of Prima bits and bobs, a couple Tim Holtz pieces and Um Wow Studio butterfly and flower confetti and one layered heart.

I used my Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists but just wasn't getting the depth of color I needed so I added some Silks color.

You might also notice the Um Wow Studio checkerboard mask I used with gel medium as one of my layers.

I added some micro beads for a bit of sparkle.

I wanted the feel of a gown so I used some shiny tulle and May Arts silk ribbon on the back of the dressform.

I am also entering this into the Finnabair Sparkle and Shine Challenge!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
