Altered Paint Stick Swap

Do you always have left over paint sticks around, you know after you paint a room or two in your house??  Well there is a lot you can do with them...fun alterations making them into artful masterpieces.  I joined some talented ladies in a swap for altered paint sticks and I LOVED doing it!! This project was so inspiring.  We created 3 and sent them off to three ladies, sharing our work with this group.  They are all floating around the states ready to be deleivered anyday, some have even arrived.
We got together for a blog hop to share what we created for this swap.  Here is the list of all the blogs, start anywhere you like and make sure to leave some love along the way.  One lucky commenter on this blog will win one of my favorite bansky stamps from Viva Las VegaStamps!

Here is a list of blogs with links so you can check out all the other awesome creations!!

Now enough babbling!!!  Here is my altered paint stick.

Art Anthology:  Velvet-Fiesta and Limeaid, Coloration Spray-Heart
Viva Las VegaStamps!: she was..., number set, stripped leggins, high gloss eembossing powder
Um Wow Studio: Checkerboard mask
Other items:  Brusho, thread, wire, tiny attacher, archival ink

I cut the paint stick into 3 equal pieces then wired them together.

The wire also creates a little hanger.

Fun right??!!!  We will be collaborationg agin soon with a different project so keep your eyes peeled for our next little hop!!
