Stampendous and Ribbon Resource Unite

Hello ribbon lovers!!  You probably have seen that the Prima Ribbonistas are swapping with Stampendous this week.  You should have gotten here from Lori Williams. I am sure you are seeing some great projects and are inspired to create!

If you missed any of the other days this week here is the line up...

Michele Kosciolek <=== you are here

I am sharing a card with lots of fun details!!

Here is what you will need.

May Arts Ribbon used:

Other Supplies used:
Circle and scalloped circle dies
Patterned paper
Prima flowers
Tiny glue dots
Perfect pearls
Distress Markers

For the background with eyelet layers I started by cutting a circle out of my patterned paper.

I used the cutout as a base.

Then adhered my layers of eyelet to it.

I adhered the circle to the card base after trimming a bit.

I like how you can see the color of the patterned paper through the eyelet.

Of course I had to have layers…

This ended up being my mom’s card, her birthday was last week!!

You are off to Rebecca VanDeMark now...Oh and make sure you head over to Stampendous and leave lots of love over there too!!

Until next time…wrap yourself in ribbon!

Cardmarker Magazine and Ribbon Resource!

Cards and ribbon...a match made in heaven!
We at Ribbon Resource, May Art's retail store, are hopping with Cardmaker Magazine and sharing some Valentines Day cards to inspire you for this LOVEly holiday coming up.
I have two cards to show you today, I was on a roll!!
But before we get to that here is the line up...make sure you visit and comment because of course there will be prizes!!
OK, here they are...

The first one is a shaker with my favorite chevron twill in 2 widths.  1/4 inch twill with chevron stripes and 5/8 inch twill with chevron stripe.

The ribbons are layered for a bit of texture.

I also used Bazzill and Echo Park paper, Pretty Pink Posh sequins and a Viva Las VegaStamps! sentiment.

My second card is a fun layered little number using 1.5 inch pink adhesive heart ribbon and 1.5 inch gold adhesive heart ribbon.

I cut a few hearts apart and stuck them right on the paper.

I also used Bazzill, American Crafts and Echo Park paper and a Heidi Swapp die.

she was a dreamer

I am starting off 2016 with a bunch of creating, keep an eye out cuz you will be seeing it very soon.
My first card for this year is for the Viva Las VegaStamps! challenge for January.

I was inspired by women, exploration, neutral, maps, vintage, writing, script, yellows.

I used Map of the World, Map of Arctic, Waybill/Invoice Background, Fed-up Vintage Lady and She Was a Dreamer.
I also used Distress Spray, Markers, Ink and Archival Ink.

I used coffe to create a vinatge feel and sewed the top layer on the sewing machine.

The lady is water colored.

There is PLENTY of time to get linked up, I hope to see what you create!!

Get inky!!
