Michele Kosciolek <= you are here

We are using Childrens Hour from G45 and I upcycled a hanging bud vase.

I covered the plaque with some leafy paper and the 2.5 inch cotton blend with no print.

I attached the vase with the natural burlap string.

The flowers are made with different patterned papers and the 2mm paper cord in white.

The flowers were cut with the large Tatered Florals die.

Finished off with a gorgeous 1.25 inch teal silk ribbon bow to hang the plaque from.

Don't forget to visit the Graphic 45 blog too!!  There is SO much awesome inspiration on these pages!!

Until next time, wrap yourself in ribbon!!

May Arts PINspiration

Just recently over on the Ribbon Resource blog we had a contest for the readers to select some inspiration from our pinterest boards for a design team challenge.
Each of the Prima Ribbonistas were to create something inspired by this...

We could take inspiration from any aspect. I took inspiration from the flowers, green and that it was a mixed media canvas.

I started with a 6x6 canvas.  I used gesso, gel, and gelatos.  Then with an Um Wow Studio mask I added another layer with paste.

Then I made a large rosette with the 5 inch white tulle,  Added a couple of Faux Suede Leaves and some Chip leaves from Um Wow Studios.

To finish it off I added some tiny beaded stamen.

The leaves create fantastic texture.

Make sure you head over to the Ribbon Resource blog to see all of the other awesome interpretations of the design team challenge!!

Until next time...wrap yourself in ribbon!
