My friend Tina Walker organizes some awesome artist collaborations, this one was the biggest!! She had 60 people sign up to participate!
So with donations from companies like Beacons and Amazing Casting Products and from other artists, especially Tina, this is the package that all participants received to work with.
The only rule was that you have to use every item on your project. We had eco dyed fabric, resin pieces, vintage bits and glue to name a few. I got started right away and this is what I came up with.
I made a tiny junk journal. I rusted a resin flower and gear die cuts with Art Basics rusting paste.
The cover is cardboard covered with eco dyed muslin sewn on with twine.
A vintage resistor secured my signatures at the spine.
Tina included an lovely mini Stencil Girl stencil, I used modeling paste to create the texture.
Some vintage pieces like a viewfiner wheel, music, postcard, library card, etc made up my signature.
The tiny vintage resistors created an amazing pocket for a tag!!
I absolutely LOVED creating with these items and adore each and every person who worked so hard to help but it all together. A special thanks to the very genorous Tina for expanding my creative horizons!!
You can find links to a lot of the others projects here or here or here. Browse around, leave some LOVE...everyone worked hard on their art and it SHOWS!!
